The Hampton Court Palace Festival

For the period between 7th and 24th of this month, all roads lead to the Hampton Court Palace grounds. There will be musical performances from a wide range of international artists and other forms of merriment. Take a break throughout your month by listening to some of your favorite musicians. The performances will cover a variety of genres, so do no worry if you thought you would be left out. With its beautiful grounds, the Hampton Palace will be the perfect setting for this midsummer concert.

Since the festival’s performances will be conducted in the evening, you do not have to worry about your enjoyment clashing with a tight work schedule. Have your series of meetings, your usual day of work then listen to some of the world’s best musicians at work. What’s more, the fact that you have a variety of days to choose from means you can always pre-schedule your attendances. Additionally, it gives you time to plan what artist’s performances you would like to attend. Set the reminder on your phone for any of the days. 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of this event’s occurrence. Previously set up as a classical music event, the festival has evolved over the years to include musicians from other genres. These include Rhythm & Blues, jazz, and pop. This year, the event will be graced by the amazing Bryan Ferry and Van Morrison. Lovers of Rhythm and Blues will have their ears enjoy music from Jools Holland accompanied by his R&B Orchestra. Michael Ball, John Morrison, and Alfie Boe will also be performing over the month at the festival.

Gates to the East Front End Garden will be open every day of the festival from 5:30 pm. There will also be free parking for all ticket holders each day from 5 pm, so you do not have to worry about parking fees. Being a very popular event in London, the festival attracts thousands of people each year. You are therefore advised to reach early to secure a convenient parking spot. The show will go on regardless of weather, so make sure you carry a raincoat along just in case.
